"Air"

"Air"

"Air" Alchemists of the past decided that four elements, Earth, Air, Water, & Fire, were the basis of our of our world. The most elusive was Air, which could be sensed but hard to see without the addition of moisture, smoke or smog. I used five different views of the air that I captured from my home window to depict “Air.” Each image was shot at different times and on separate days.
A Room WIth A View by Montage Photographer Roslyn Rose

"A Room With A View"

I removed the doors and fireplace in a room of a French palace in order to expose a view of a farm building in Maine. The combination of a palatial building being renovated for tourists to view and a humble structure in use by a farmer makes a noteworthy statement.Roslyn Rose

"The Estate"

Using two photographs taken in Germany, I have placed an image of an abandoned room on an estate with a palatial home. I like to juxtapose the neglected with the occupied and the deserted with the inhabited.
Sanctuary by artist photographer Roslyn Rose

"Sanctuary"

My photograph of a portion of a wooded area in Maine surrounds a found image of an archway, which was opened to allow a view of a fantasy hideaway. It is my dream getaway for a studio without modern distractions.
